Hello, Independence Eagles!

My name is Pamela Burns and I am honored to be serving as PTA President this year. I have been involved in PTA since 2020. My daughter, Nicole, is currently in 4th grade. We love Independence and are excited for all the great things to come in the year ahead!

After a rough few years, primarily due to COVID, our PTA is now stronger than ever. We have welcomed so many new board members from our Kindergarten classes, bringing with them lots of excitement and new ideas. 

How can you help? You can probably guess what I’m going to say: Join Us! Anyone can join with a small donation of $10.50: parents, grandparents, guardians and extended family members, teachers, community partners - truly anyone! The more members we have, the more voice we have within our school district and state! You can make a difference just by joining! www.iespta.net

We also need volunteers of all shapes, sizes, and availability. Whether you can only help from home, once or twice for an hour, or on a more regular basis, we are more in need of volunteers than ever.
